IMD Predicts Fresh low pressure in the State: Farmers Worried

Bhubaneswar: Untimely rain damaged the production of the daddy cultivators. The backbone of the farmers have broken by the unpredictability of the weather by destroying the whole years labour of the farmers.

The previous low pressure has damaged the paddy in the fields itself and getting wet without being procured due to the last rain. The IMD has predicted a fresh low pressure in the Bay of Bengal and it’s impact on the state. As the whole years Rabi farming has got affected heavily lately, this new rain prediction for two days is going to hit the farmers in Odisha as a nightmare.

Due to this low pressure alert, the coastal regions named Kendrapara, Jagatsinghpur, Puri, Kurdha, Cuttack, Bhadrak, Balasore, Ganjam, Gajapati, Rayagada, Malkangiri are going to get rain for two days on 24 and 25 of December. Due to the impacts of West Wind, the western Odisha regions are going to be hit during 28-29 of December.
