Bhubaneswar: ‘Every village will have Omfed stalls’, stated by the minister of Fisheries and Animal Resources, Gokulananda Malik. Odisha has a very high demand for Omfed milk and other Omfed products. Every nook and corner uses the milk products of Omfed. So keeping that huge demand in mind the State Government has announced to open Omfed stalls’ at every village.
Moreover in the temples the use of Omfed ghee is a common norm. The minister has said as per the rule of the government notification all the district authorities have been notified to see whether all the temples are using Omfed ghee in the temple rituals. Other than this the production of milk has to increase to match up to the demand of the product.
The state government will be implementing the Kamadhenu Yojana at the allocation of Rs 14.23 crore to hike the milk production in the state. The brand and the organization, Omfed will have a complete reorganization with the execution of the Yojana. The government is putting all efforts to improve the dairy industry and make the Omfed brand more reaching.
