Bhubaneswar : After over two months, private bus services have resumed in the state today. The decision came after a discussion between The All Odisha Private Bus Owners’ Association and State Government yesterday regarding the demands of the association.
The first bus started its journey to Boudh district from Bhubaneswar today with around 15 passengers. While a couple of other buses also left for their respective destinations, normalcy in services are yet to be restored. Unavailability of buses at some places left even the passengers stranded at the bus stands.
As per the guidelines issued by the government to prevent the spread of Corona Virus infection, the vehicles were properly sanitised and people were requested to use sanitiser and wear masks before boarding the buses.
