Bhubaneswar: A leading incubation centre for startup and entrepreneurship of the state, Atal Incubation Centre-Nalanda Institute of Technology Foundation (AIC-Nalanda), which is supported by AIM, NITI Ayoga has announced about the launching of a news startup venture called ‘Chef Junction’. It is a food delivery platform which delivers home cooked foods to customers. To launch this startup AIC-Nalanda has organized the fourth chapter of “Startup Launchpad Series” at Occasions Banquet Hall, Bhubaneswar on 25th February 2022 (Friday). It was incubated at AIC-Nalanda with around other 35 startups.
Chef Junction has started its journey in August 2020 amidst COVID-19 pandemic and allowed a customer to order hygienic home-cooked food prepared by handpicked Home Chefs of the city through their app available on Play Store and App store. Today it has over 100 talented home chefs and more than 1000 products listed on its platform. Unlike other food delivery platforms, Chef Junction delivers food prepared by people at home where hygiene and quality are incorporated across multiple cuisines- from Poha to Pizza.
On this occasion, Suryanshu Panda, Co-Founder, Chef Junction asserted that, “Chef Junction, by delivering #GharSeGharTak, has sown the concept of being “Self-reliant” in this city’s land and has started inspiring many, especially women home chefs, to become independent by gaining a regular income”. He appealed before the audience to encourage food lovers for downloading Chef Junction App and enjoy the delicious food services from home chefs of Bhubaneswar.

AIC Nalanda is currently incubating 35 startups at its state-of-the-art incubator based in Bhubaneswar. “Startup Launchpad” is an initiative of AIC-Nalanda where it promotes products/services of entrepreneurs ready-to-launch their innovations in the consumer market. The platform gives the startups extensive outreach among the industry, user community, media, and public forums.
