Bhubaneswar: It is speculated that Khalistani terror threat is looming over the DGP/ IGP conference in Bhubaneswar. The visit of prime minister Narendra Modi, Home minister Amit Shah and the other high profile dignitaries of Indian Police Department from all the states of India has created a potential factor for a threatening atmosphere in the capital city of Odisha post the remark of the Khalistani extremist Gurpatwant Singh Pannum on tightening security system to the Odisha security departments as there might be an attack on the high profile conference.
The security system including the Commission rate Police and the Central forces have increased patrolling and keep a regular vigilance on the DGP/ IGP conference in Bhubaneswar. There is a constant , minute check on the vehicles starting from the Biju Patnaik International Airport to the other corridors, lanes of the Bhubaneswar city.
The whole city is under strict surveillance, several security check points are on operation, blockades, inspections have been set up at every intersection of the capital city and every vehicle is being thoroughly inspected as per requirements.
The security forces are getting operational more and more after the threat message of the Khalistani extremist. The Commisionerate Police, Intelligence wing of Odisha, SPG, and other agencies had got on to their toes by implementing security measures.
