Bhubaneswar: Strong determination and hard work will never be in vain. Sukanti Dash, a visually challenged woman from Odisha who has joined the State Revenue Services of Odisha state, is the epitome of strength and perseverance that encourages us all to move forward, regardless of difficulties.
Blind since birth, Sukanti was once a teacher—a ‘Sikshya Sahayaka’ with the state’s education department, after earning her postgraduate degree in History from Utkal University, Bhubaneswar. She taught hundreds of children, lived with minimal facilities, and also took care of her family. She will now serve the people of Odisha as a civil servant.
