Bhubaneswar: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced the results of JEE Main 2026 Session 1, with 12 candidates achieving a perfect 100 percentile across the country.
Among the top performers, Bhavesh Patra from Odisha secured the sixth rank, emerging as the only candidate from the state to score 100 percentile in the highly competitive engineering entrance examination.
According to NTA, 13,04,653 candidates appeared for JEE Main Session 1, which was conducted in January 2026 in 13 languages across multiple centres in India and abroad.
The result marks the first phase of the JEE Main examination cycle, and qualified candidates will now gear up for JEE Advanced 2026, the gateway to admission into the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs).
The NTA has made scorecards available on its official website, and counselling details will be announced separately.
