National, 27 April: In the ongoing IPL, Hardik Pandya, the skipper of Mumbai Indians is currently going through a bad form in terms of his batting and bowling. Knowing his current form the senior and former cricketers think that he should not be taken in the national cricket team for the upcoming T20 World Cup which is supposed to be held in the West Indies and the USA.
In this regard, Yuvraj Singh, the former all-rounder of the Indian cricket team has expressed his opinion. He cites that Pandya being a great cricketer in his terms can pull off his game in the shortest format. This is the player who has hit six sixes against England in the T20 match. So he can emulate his game on the field.
According to the former cricketer, Hardik Pandya should be included in the team for the Marquee event barring his current cricketing form. In Yuvraj’s opinion, there is a requirement for fierce batters in the Indian squads, so both Dube and Pandya can fill the gap.
He talks about Shivam Dupe in a positive manner that the batter has been performing very well in the IPL. Though he has been a constant in and out for the Indian cricket team he has the potential to turn out to be a game changer for the team. Similarly, Pandya irrespective of his form can be considered for the team India in the upcoming T20 World Cup as he had hit six sixes in in the past T20 game.
