After the massive success in the recent electoral success, BJP National President Amit Shah will visit Odisha for three days in April.
Though Mr.Shah’s detailed tour program is yet to be finalized, sources said the BJP Big Boss will hold multiple rallies and chair key meetings with the regional leaaders to chalk out strategies to take on the Biju Janata Dal (BJD).
BJD Government has been ruling the State for last 17 years without an interruption.
Following BJP’s impressive electoral success in Uttar Pradesh, Uttarkhand and formation of Government in four States, Mr. Shah is “Looking at the East”.
Mr.Shah’s visit to Odisha after the saffron party’s landslide victory in Uttar Pradesh and BJP gaining strong foot hold in Odisha after recent Rural Polls.
So Mr.Shah’s Odisha visit assumes significance as it is an indicator to the party’s desire to gain strong foothold here before the 2019 Assembly polls.
BJP has already emerged as principal opposition party in Odisha politics with impressive gains in the panchayat elections in the State.
According to the Sources, Mr. Shah will formally open a ‘War Room’ for the 2019 general elections.
Senior BJP leader and Union Tribal Affairs Minister Jual Oram said that the UP results have proved that people of the country appreciates the development activities being initiated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and BJP National President, Amit Shah.
