Bhubaneswar: The first phase of mega affordable housing project in Chandrasekharpur area in Bhubaneswar, executed in PPP (Public-Private-Participation) mode, is expected to get completed by September 2021, said Bhubaneswar Development Authority (BDA) in a tweet from its official handle. The second phase of the project is slated to be completed by September 2022, it added.
This mega affordable housing project, being executed by BDA in PPP mode over 20.21 acres of land, will have 2600 affordable houses for the slum dwellers. The newly constructed colony will have several community facilities like Anganwadi Centre, Library, medical services, multipurpose hall etc.
Secretary (#5T) to Chief Minister VK Pandian along with VC BDA cum Commissioner BMC Sanjay Singh , Works Dept. Secretary Dr. Krishan Kumar, Special Secretary to CM R Vineel Krishna and other senior project officials visited the affordable housing project site in Chandrasekharpur, on Sunday. The Secretary (5T) suggested to start the allotment of the houses soon so that the beneficiaries also can monitor the progress & quality of the construction.
