Chief Minister to Distribute Appointment Letters to 16,000 Teachers

Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief minister Mohan Charan Mohan Charan Majhi will be issuing appointment letters to 16,000 teachers on 6th October, Sunday at Kalinga Stadium. As mentioned in the press release of School and Mass Education Department, Chief Minister is going to hand over the appointment letters to 16.009 junior teachers, Schematic, recruited for primary and upper primary schools allover the state.

There will be a special event organized by the School & Mass Communication Department where dignitaries like Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, Deputy Chief Minister Kanak Vardhan Singh Deo, School and Mass Education Minister Nityananda Gond, Higher Education Minister Suryabanshi Suraj, and senior officials.

The recruitment of such huge scale number of teachers is going to be contributing considerably by improving the quality of primary education in the state, and hope to ensure better teaching and learning experience for students.  It is stated that this is an extension of the broader vision of the state government achieving a ‘Viksit Odisha’ by 2036, aimed at promoting development and growth in the state.
