Bhubaneswar: More than 1000 community support staff have met Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi in the state guest house after the CM gave a speech in the state legislative assembly on implementing Lakhpati Didi Yojana in the state aiming to improve the economic stability of the women. The women from across 30 districts have shown their gratitude and thanked the CM.
Under the “ Lakhpati Didi Sahayika Yojana” more than 62 thousand women community support staff will be benefited. On this occasion the CM has stated that the state government is aiming to make about 25 thousand lakhpati didi by 2027. So every woman who will be benefited should be a lakhpati and help the others to become one.
The CM has further said that this Lakhpati Didi Yojana is an extraordinary scheme by the Prime Minister where the women will invest the money into various businesses to become economically efficient and increase the income of the household.
CM Majhi has cited that the previous government had given appointments to the women community support staff but did not give them salary. Our government will give them their due salary that is pending for the last ten months. The women deserve their salary and the dream our Prime Minister has to make all the women a lakhpati will be fulfilled. The women will be provided with their due salary along with a rewarding amount by the government.
All the women community staff will be included in the Lakhpati Didi Yojana. They will be given regular remuneration and the GPLFs will be strengthened with the implementation of this scheme. The GPLFs will be granted funds by the government for this Yojana.
