Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik, on Sunday, appreciated the initiative undertaken by Odisha Government’s State Transports authority providing Heavy Motor Vehicle (HMV) driving training to youth. This is being provided in association with Ashok Leyland, India, as part of its effort to provide livelihood opportunities to the youth. The Chief Minister also highlighted the achievements in this programme as asserted that the inspiring story of Suprabha Jena and Subhadarshini Jena are testament to the success of this programme.
The Chief Minister also urged the citizens to take pledge to work towards spreading mental health education, awareness and eradication of the social stigma related to it. On the occasion of World Mental Health Day, he said that a well informed social discourse on mental health has become increasingly necessary with changing times.
