It is likely to move westnorthwestwards and become wellmarked during next 48hours, clarified Meterological Centre, Odisha (MeT). Light to moderate rain or thundershower very likely to occur at most places over the districts of South Odisha, at many places over the districts of North Coastal Odisha and at a few places over the districts of North Interior Odisha.
As per Met, Heavy to very heavy Rainfall very likely to occur at isolated places over the districts of Malkangiri, Koraput, Rayagada and heavy rainfall very likely to occur at isolated places over the districts of Ganjam, Gajapati, Puri, Kandhamal and Kalahandi. Thunderstorm with lightning and accompanied with gusty surface winds, speed reaching 30 to 40 kmph very likely to occur at isolated places over the districts of Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Balasore, Angul, Dhenkanal, Cuttack, Khurda, Sonepur, Boudh, Kandhamal, Ganjam, Jajpur, Bhadrak and Nayagarh.
