Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar, a period drama based on the reigning life and struggle of the elite house of courtesans during British India and the pre-independent era. The epic saga is going to be released as a series on Netflix on 1st May. The long-awaited and much-talked-about series of Sanjay Leela Bhansali has been premiered on 24 April in Mumbai with a star-studded event. Many A-listers from Bollywood like Alia Bhatt, Salman Khan, Rekha, Vicky Kaushal, and Genelia Deshmukh among others attended the grand premiere.
The stellar star cast of the extraordinary series includes Manisha Koirala, Sonakshi Sinha, Aditi Rao Haydri, Richa Cadhha, Sanjeeda Shaikh, Sarmin Sehgal, Fardeen Khan, Adhyayan and Sekhar suman and so on.
The trailer of the Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar is slated to release on 1 May 2024 on Netflix. The trailer was launched earlier this month. It takes the audience to the period of courtesans were reigning as monarchs. The story revolves around the life journey of the Courtesans and their Nawab clients against the turbulent scenario of the Indian freedom struggle 1940s. The series intervenes in the cultural reality of the world of Heera Mandi a red-light area situated in Lahore city.
