Bhubaneswar: Two more COVID-19 patients recovered today, bringing down the number of recovered cases in Odisha to 41, tweet by Health and Family Welfare Department.
Earlier today, as many as 17 persons were tested positive with COVID-19 in the State taking the total coronavirus cases to 142. In the meantime, labors from Surat & Tamilnadu are rushing to Odisha through Govt. approved Buses.
It was the biggest spike in coronavirus cases in the State in the last three weeks.
Jajpur is standing with 35 COVID-19 cases which is highest in Odisha now. In view of this crisis, Principal Secretary Health has directed the State Surveillance Officer and State Rapid Response Team to proceed to Jajpur for strengthening the surveillance activities and containment measures.
Two rapid response teams from AIIMS Bhubaneswar have been deputed to Balasore and Bhadrak districts for strengthening surveillance and cluster containment activities.
