Mumbai: Legrand India today launched a digital campaign for Diwali called as #ComeHometoCelebrations. This campaign will be available on the company’s microsite http://www.legrand.co.in/comehometocelebrations/. Through this initiative, the company wishes to promote the spirit of togetherness, warmth and love for new relationships; values and emotions typical of an Indian Diwali.
From control and connection interfaces to cable management, energy distribution and passive networking systems, Legrand provides a host of solutions designed to mangage lighting, energy, networks and building access. In other words it supplies the essential fuels of daily life- power and data, thereby enabling uninterrupted living. This belief of uniteruppted living is just not limited to a market or a product, but also with daily lives of its consumers. Come Home to Celebrations an opportunity Legrand seeks to translate this belief into a sheer delight for consumers for this festive season and the ones to come in the future.
The campaign which goes live today will allow visitors to register till 18th October, 2017. It encourages people to become host this Diwali and open their houses for people who could not travel to their hometown/families for the festival. Users can register themsleves on the microsite and choose to become either a host or a guest. The company will then match a host family with an individual, basis location and preference. The idea is to help people come together and and celebrate the beautiful festival with a new family member amid a different tradition and culture. Legrand will also curate user-generated content on various aspects of the festival like recipes, décor, gifting etc. to capture the flavour of the festival this year. Legrand will also be associating with popular online influencers to carry the emotion forward. The festive fervour will brewing on the company’s social media channels on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and Youtube.
Speaking on this occation Mr. Sameer Saxena, Vice President, Marketing, Legrand India said, “This campaign captures the desire of consumers to remain close to their roots even when they step out of their house for new opportunities, job etc. This campaign is all about unadultered joy, new experiences and familial bonds. There are always some of us who are alone during festivals and are not able to visit our loved ones because of various reasons. We thought, with their hopes of celebration glowing dim, how enabling a Diwali for them through others who would be ready to share their celebrations. How about bringing them home to celebrate?” He further added, “The objective of the national initiative is to strengthen Legrand’s connect with its consumers. I am confident that our consumers would be excited to participate in a unique initiative as this.”
The next phase of the campaign will be executed in December with Christmas.
