Bhubaneswar: The government of Odisha has announced on Thursday that it has marked a goal to appoint a total number of 11,403 teachers in government-operated high schools all over the state. The Chief Minister’s Officer (CMO) notified through a press release, that the process of recruitment has already been initiated and going to be finished by April 2022.
Recently, there were 6131 teachers had been posted within a day and in the first phase, 4619 teachers posts were published in August this year, for the subjects like Hindi, Sanskrit, and Sports.
For the second phase, another notification was published on 28 August. It had notified to fill up 6720 posts of TGT, Arts and Telugu teachers in various government-run schools.
According to the government notice, Though the department is facing a problem to materialise the process of recruitment and get the required number of candidates appointed, still the rules and regulations for examination and recruitment have been revised to invite more candidates to participate in the recruitment process.
Moreover, the State government has also planned to notify posts for 3462 teachers considering the increased number of students.
The notification further states, the state government is devoted to making it a smooth process within your months. The commencement of the next phase of the teacher’s recruitment process will vindictively State’s education sector.
