Political parties especially the Congress party are hesitant to announce their list of candidates for the Loksabha elections. Even in some so-called tough constituencies, all three parties have dwindled upon their final declaration of the candidates even if they confirm that the candidates are finalized.
The BJP is still waiting to announce candidates for 147 seats whereas the BJD has not yet declared names for 6 Lok Sabha seats and 75 assembly seats. Above all, the Congress party has not even shown any last of the candidates at all.
The question here is what could be the factor behind this confusion and over-thinking attitude regarding the revelation of candidate lists. This election atmosphere is incredibly confusing and faking to be competitive whereas the real scenario is completely one-sided in both the cases, lol sabha as well as assembly poll.
Whether his delay in seat declaration is to put forth a tough fight, the example being former police commissioner Arup Patnaik has been pitted from BJD in the puri seat against BJP national spokesperson, Sambit Patra. There was a strong speculation of both parties getting into an alliance when that discussion failed both parties perhaps determined to lock horns in full swing.
