Bhubaneswar: Honourable President Ram Nath Kovind is going to visit Puri for days, from 19 February.
As per the sources, President Kovind will begin his visit to the Srikhetra on February 19, then it has been scheduled that he will inaugurate a programme in commemoration of the 150th birth anniversary of Srila Bhaktisiddhanta Saraswati Goswami Prabhupada at the Saradhabali ground in the Pilgrim city on February 20.
The district administration of Puri has started preparing for the programme and the visit if the Honourable PresidentPilgrim police officials, headed by Central Range IG of Police Narasingha Bhola, are reviewing the security arrangements to make sure the President visit program becomes a successful and safe one. The police department is in full swing to ensure all the security arrangements are properly carried out in the city before the visit of the President. The police personnel have started examining the security managements bin places such as Chaitanya Gaudiya Mutt, Srimandir and the Saradhabali ground.
The President’s visit is scheduled to end on February 20. By this visit, the Honourable President will be making his third visit to the Holy city, Puri. In his earlier visit to Puri, the president was accompanied by his wife Sabita Kovind in March 2021, which was a three-day visit of the President then.
