Puri : Shree Jagannath Temple in Puri reopens today for devotees after close to four months. The devotees will be allowed for Darshana from 7 am to 7 pm on weekdays starting Monday. The temple will remain closed on weekends for sanitization of the premises and also during major festivals to avoid crowding. Adequate safety and security measures have been put in place to ensure smooth Darshana of the deities with strict adherence to Covid-19 protocols.
Wearing masks, maintaining hand hygiene and social distance during the Darshana will be mandatory. Devotees are required to produce final vaccination certificate or a negative RT-PCR report not older than 96 hours in order to enter into the temple.
