Bhubaneswar: Pakistani cricketer Shahid Afridi has made an attempt to become Imran Khan 2.0 by
making the most insensitive and inhuman statement on the Pehalgam terrorist attack
in Kashmir, India. But Afridi must understand politics is not just about passing loose
statements in the media. It asks for responsibility and accountability. One cannot
capture the throne by running around the bushes of sheer falsehood. If Shahid Afridi
is trying to wear the crown through the innocent dead bodies it he would be the most
cruel and insensitive leader in the world history.
As Shahid Afridi used to play cricket like an express train without seeing the front
way, his words are also doing the same today when he speaks about the Pehalgam
attack, completely showing his unawareness. He used get immense love from India
for his cricket career. But his aspirations for politics has raised so high that he
crosses all the low levels. The way he blabbers his foolish comments on the terrorist
attacks in India since the time of partition as India’s own game plan to put blame on
Pakistan.
The heinous attacks like 1993 bomb blasts, 2001 parliament attack, 26/11 Taj hotel
attack, 2016 Pathankot airbase attack, 2016 Uri attack, 2019 Pulwama attack and
now Pahalgam attack on innocent tourists in 2025 have tormented the heart of India
time and again. These Pakistani backed terrorist attacks have been bleeding India
and people like Shahid Afridi sling muds on India itself just to cover up these
terrorists.
Shahid Afridi said in his statement on the Pehalgam terror attack that India has killed
his own people and the army and forces of India is incompetent to protect them. On
the other hand Shikhar Dhawan has retaliated by saying, “ We are proud of our army,
we have already defeated you badly in Kargil war. So it’s better to concentrate on the
development of your own country rather than passing unnecessary comments. How
low can you stoop?”
India has banned the telecast of PSL in India, YouTube channels of Pakistan,
suspension of Indus water treaty, ban on the Pakistani artists in India. It is very clear
from the side of India that as long as terrorism exists in Pakistan we will not entertain
any relation with Pakistan. The country is United and strong on this.
