Kolkata, India, 15 November 2025: The Institute of Leadership, Entrepreneurship & Development (iLEAD) successfully conducted its Student Council Elections 2025 on November 5, drawing a large number of students and staff to the polls. The event was held under the careful supervision of teachers and mentors, ensuring transparency, fairness and discipline throughout the process.
The elections were combined with a special awareness campaign on the country’s electoral system, a requirement under the National Accreditation & Assessment Council (NAAC) and the college’s own guidelines. Many participants will be casting their first vote in upcoming national elections, and the campaign emphasized how to navigate the ballot responsibly. Guided by the faculty, the initiative aimed to help students understand the significance of informed decision-making and participatory leadership.
