NITI Aayog Member Prof. Gobardhan Das Attends Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham Convocation

Bhubaneswar: Prof. Gobardhan Das, Member, NITI Aayog, attended the 30th Convocation Ceremony of Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Amritapuri Campus, as the Chief Guest on August 8, 2026, celebrating the achievements of graduating students as they prepare to begin a new phase of their lives.

Addressing the graduates, Prof. Das emphasised that a strong sense of responsibility towards society is one of the most important values individuals should carry throughout their lives.

He encouraged the students to transform the knowledge and values gained during their university education into meaningful action and contribute to the country’s development. He also urged them to play an active role in supporting the vision of Viksit Bharat by 2047.
