Bhubaneswar, Odisha: Odisha has completed its Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls, with the final voter list published after the revision process that began on May 30, 2026. Chief Electoral Officer R.S. Gopalan said the final roll contains 3,16,32,754 electors.
According to the CEO, Odisha had 3,33,99,591 electors before the exercise. The draft roll published on July 5 contained 3,13,87,034 electors, after 20,12,557 entries were not included at the enumeration stage.
During the verification process, 58,36,392 notices were issued, including notices to unmapped electors and those whose entries had logical discrepancies. Following hearings and disposal of claims and objections, 44,777 electors were deleted, while around 2.90 lakh names were added to the draft roll.
With the SIR now complete, voters can continue to seek inclusion, correction or deletion in the electoral roll through the prescribed Forms 6, 7 and 8, either online or through their Booth Level Officer (BLO).
The final roll has 1,61,30,319 male electors, 1,54,99,661 female electors and 2,774 third-gender electors.
