Bhubaneswar: The Institute of Leadership, Entrepreneurship and Development (iLEAD) and Alliance Française du Bengale have entered into a strategic collaboration aimed at promoting French language learning and cultural education among students and facilitating greater cultural exchange and opportunities.
The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed at the iLEAD campus in Topsia, Kolkata, marking an important step towards strengthening language and cultural education at the institution.
As part of the collaboration, the partnership will focus on structuring French language learning at iLEAD, enabling students to develop language skills while gaining greater exposure to French culture and international opportunities.
“Today, we are signing an MOU, but this partnership is much more than simply introducing French language courses. It is about creating meaningful opportunities for students and opening doors to a wider world through the French language. Learning French is not only about grammar and conjugation; it is a gateway to education, employment, business, culture, cinema, literature, gastronomy, art, ideas and creativity. As sectors such as hospitality continue to expand, knowledge of French can become an important advantage for students seeking careers in management, marketing, hospitality and other fields. Through this MOU and our partnership, we hope to strengthen these connections and give students not only the opportunity to learn a language, but also a new way of looking at the world and building their future” said Mr. Marc Boudin, Director, Alliance Française du Bengale.

The initiative will also facilitate cultural exchange programmes and new opportunities for students, providing them with wider avenues for learning, engagement and cross-cultural interaction.
The collaboration between iLEAD and Alliance Française du Bengale is expected to create a more enriching learning environment for students by integrating language education with cultural exposure and global perspectives.
