Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Staff Selection Commission (OSSC) has announced recruitment for Group B and Group C specialist posts across various state government departments. As part of this drive, 84 vacancies have been notified for the post of Food Safety Officer (FSO).
The FSO position carries a pay scale of Level 9 under the Odisha Revised Scales of Pay (ORSP) Rules, 2017. Eligible candidates must be between 21 and 42 years of age as on January 1, 2025. Age relaxation will be applicable for candidates belonging to SC, ST, SEBC, women, persons with disabilities (PwD), and ex-servicemen, in accordance with government norms.
OSSC has clarified that the current notification is indicative and provisional. The detailed advertisement, including information on educational qualifications, application schedule, examination pattern, and selection process, will be published shortly on the official OSSC website.
