Rajib Sekhar Sahoo Reappointed Chairman of ICC Odisha State Council at Centenary AGM

Bhubaneswar:  Shri Rajib Sekhar Sahoo has been reappointed as Chairman of the Indian Chamber of Commerce (ICC) Odisha State Council during the Chamber’s Annual General Meeting held at Hotel Lemon Tree, Bhubaneswar. The reappointment coincides with a landmark moment for the ICC, which has entered its centenary year, completing 100 years since its establishment in 1925.

A seasoned financial expert, Shri Sahoo is the Principal Partner of SRB Associates and brings extensive leadership experience across banking, infrastructure, insurance, and healthcare sectors. His professional journey includes serving as a Trustee of Paradip Port Trust, Directorships at Andhra Bank and Bank of Baroda, and leadership roles in the insurance industry. He is also associated with Indraprastha Gas Limited and Kalinga Hospital.

The existing leadership team of the ICC Odisha State Council continues, with Shri Dharmaditya Patnaik retaining his position as Senior Vice Chairman. Shri Patnaik, Managing Director of ACE Commercial Company Pvt. Ltd., oversees a diversified business portfolio spanning chemicals, finance, and natural resources. Smt. Nilanjana Mukherjee continues as Vice Chair. She is the Managing Director of Padmini Care Hospital and has over two decades of experience in the hospitality and healthcare sectors, including senior roles with the Taj Group, Apollo Hospitals, and AMRI.

Over the past century, the Indian Chamber of Commerce has played a significant role in shaping India’s industrial and economic landscape, working closely with governments and industry stakeholders. In Odisha, the ICC has been instrumental in addressing sector-specific challenges and contributing to policy formulation through its Business Expert Committees, which focus on areas such as agriculture, metals and mining, MSMEs, and healthcare. The Indian National Women Entrepreneurs Council (INWEC) remains a key vertical of the Chamber, promoting women-led entrepreneurship and inclusive growth.

The AGM was attended by several senior members, including former Chairman of the ICC Odisha State Council Shri J. B. Pany and Regional Head Shri J. P. Pal, along with other distinguished representatives, who marked the centenary milestone and outlined priorities for the year ahead.
