Prime Minister Approves for 8 New KVs in Odisha

Bhubaneswar: Odisha to get eight new KVs, Kendriya Vidyalayas in different districts of the state. In the Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs (CCEA) which was chaired by the Honorable Prime Minister Narendra Modi, it is approved that under civil defence sector the odisha state will be getting eight more KVs at places like ITBP Khurda, Titlagarh and Patnagarh in Balangir district, Athmallik and Talcher in Angul district, Kuchinda in Sambalpur district, Kamakhyanagar in Dhenkanal district and Jeypore in Koraput district.

There are going to be 85 new KVs across the country approved by the Prime Minister. Union education minister Dharmendra Pradhan showed gratitude to prime minister for this grant of establishment of eight more KVs in Odisha, 28 new Navodaya Vidyalayas.

While expressing gratitude Union Education Minister Mr Pradhan said “These new schools are going to be established to provide high-quality education across the country, including Odisha. This will be the step in the direction of the implementation of National Education Policy,” said the education minister.

This development will be most beneficial for the students belonging to the SC, ST, and OBC communities. The improved quality of education at the school level will help to enhance the mental, physical, analytical thinking capabilities and intellectual abilities of the students from a primary level, stated by Mr Pradhan.
