AirIndia Plane Crashed Outside Ahmadabad Airport

Bhubaneswar: Air India passenger plane crashed in Ahmedabad just after its take off from. It is a London bound plane, so expected there are majority of foreign nationals boarded in the plane. It is reported that 130 passengers are dead in this crash as of now. There were a total of 242 passengers boarded including the crew members in the plane. The plane had taken off from the Ahmedabad airport at 1.39 P.M. The pilot had given a Mayday call to the ATC and within a minute it collapsed on the ground right outside the airport.

DGCA has issued statement on plane crash. As per the technical experts the plane might have suffered a weight issue, having over loaded with passengers, fuel tanks because it was a long international flight and so on. Even though all these technicalness are determined prior to the take off. But there are instances of glitches as well. Sometimes the actual wight of the aircraft is not known to the crew. They calculate according to the data provided to them. There could be an input error such as weighing the baggages etc. There could be numerous possibilities which requires proper investigation and calls for correction in the system. The main purpose of the investigation should be on the side of finding the rout cause of the crash rather than only performing a blame game. By intending to find out the rout cause and eliminating it we could avoid such horrifying accidents in future, though they are occurring time and again.

Human errors are possible but when there are engineering systems in place we need to bring urgent notice to these continuous accident which are shrinking the human life to an uncertain water bubble. The system assumes that the aircraft is light but its excessively over loaded which is why it does not sustain the flight with the calculated performance speed.
