Kolkata: Aakash Educational Services Limited (AESL), a leading test preparation institute for aspiring doctors and engineers, successfully conducted its prestigious national scholarship exam — Aakash National Talent Hunt Exam (ANTHE) 2025. This year, the exam witnessed record-breaking participation, with over 11.45 lakh students from across India taking part.
AESL announced that more than 1,500 students from Classes V to XII across the country will be eligible for up to 100% scholarships on Aakash courses. Under ANTHE 2025, the company will offer scholarships worth ₹250 crore and cash awards of ₹2.5 crore to meritorious students.
Exam Conducted in Both Online and Offline Modes
ANTHE 2025 was held in two phases — online and offline.
-
The online exam was conducted from October 4 to 12, 2025,
-
while the offline exam took place on October 5 and 12, 2025 across hundreds of centers nationwide.
The exam was held across 24 states and Union Territories, including Odisha, West Bengal, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, Delhi, Karnataka, and more — making it one of India’s largest student scholarship initiatives.
Massive Response from West Bengal
ANTHE 2025 received overwhelming support from schools and parents, particularly in West Bengal, where over 50,000 students appeared for the test. AESL noted that participation from the state has grown significantly over the past few years, reflecting increasing trust in its programs.
Commitment to Student Success
Speaking about the milestone, Mr. Tilak Raj Khanna, Director of AESL, said:
“The tremendous response that ANTHE has received from students and parents across India — especially in West Bengal — has been truly overwhelming. This examination has become one of the biggest gateways for school students aspiring to enter the country’s top medical and engineering colleges.”
AESL’s mission, he added, is to identify and nurture bright minds, regardless of their financial background, and provide them access to quality test preparation through its classroom, digital, and hybrid programs.
Expanded Access for Younger Students
Traditionally, ANTHE was open only to students from Classes VII to XII. However, in response to popular demand from parents and schools, AESL has now extended the eligibility to include students from Classes V and VI, giving younger learners an early opportunity to build a strong foundation for competitive exams like NEET, JEE, NTSE, and Olympiads.
Future Plans and Additional Test Centers
AESL also announced that, based on demand from students, parents, and schools, the institute may establish additional ANTHE exam centers in new cities, subject to basic infrastructure requirements.
