Serial Terror Links Emerge Across States; Red Fort Blast May Be Part of Larger Network

Bhubaneswar: India is facing a new and deeply worrying security challenge as investigators uncover what appears to be a network of interconnected terror incidents across multiple states. Though the attacks occurred separately and through different methods, early findings suggest a coordinated pattern connecting them — with the recent Red Fort blast in Delhi possibly part of the same chain.

According to intelligence and law enforcement sources, several raids have been conducted across Delhi, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, and Jammu & Kashmir over the past 48 hours. The operations have led to the arrest of two doctors, suspected of aiding in logistics and communication for the group.

In a major breakthrough, officials have also seized nearly three tons of explosive material, which investigators believe was intended for use in future attacks. The explosives were recovered from multiple storage sites in coordinated raids involving the National Investigation Agency (NIA) and local police units.

“Preliminary evidence points toward a larger, well-planned network operating under a structured command. The materials and methods used in the recent blasts show clear similarities,” said a senior NIA officer.

The findings have prompted a nationwide alert, with intelligence agencies closely monitoring sleeper cells and cross-border communications.

The Red Fort blast, which claimed 12 lives earlier this week, is now being seen as a possible trigger point in exposing a wider terror operation. Forensic experts are analysing chemical traces from the site to match them with samples collected during the recent seizures.

Security around key installations, transport hubs, and public venues has been intensified as investigators race to unravel the full extent of the conspiracy.
