Bhubaneswar: The annual FASTag pass issued by the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) will become slightly more expensive starting April 1, following a revision in the annual fee.
According to NHAI, the cost of the FASTag annual pass will increase from ₹3,000 to ₹3,075. The revised rate will come into effect from the beginning of the new financial year.
The annual pass allows commuters to cross toll plazas multiple times and remains valid for one year or up to 200 toll crossings, whichever occurs earlier. The facility is mainly used by frequent highway travellers who regularly commute through toll plazas.
Officials said the pass will continue to be available digitally through the Rajmargyatra app as well as on the official NHAI website, allowing users to purchase and manage their passes online.
FASTag is an electronic toll collection system that enables automatic deduction of toll charges, helping vehicles pass through toll plazas without stopping and reducing congestion on national highways.
