Bhubaneswar: The Government of India has launched the National e-Governance Service Delivery Assessment (NeSDA) 2025 portal aimed at strengthening digital governance and improving the delivery of online public services across the country.
The National e-Governance Service Delivery Assessment framework evaluates the depth, effectiveness and quality of online service delivery platforms operated by States, Union Territories and identified Central Ministries.
Officials said the NeSDA framework serves as a key benchmarking exercise for assessing digital governance performance and promoting best practices among States, UTs and Central Ministries/Departments.
The assessment is designed to help governments identify gaps in digital service delivery systems, enhance operational efficiency and improve citizens’ experience in accessing public services online.
Authorities said the initiative will also support wider adoption of citizen-centric governance practices by encouraging departments to strengthen accessibility, transparency, responsiveness and ease of use of government portals and digital platforms across India.
