BHUBANESWAR: Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi on Tuesday chaired a high-level meeting in Bhubaneswar to review preparations for celebrations marking the completion of two years of the BJP government in the state.
The meeting was attended by Deputy Chief Ministers Kanak Vardhan Singh Deo and Pravati Parida along with senior officials and party leaders.
According to officials, the celebrations will be organised from June 12 to June 21 across the state. The government has decided to observe the programme in a simple manner with a strong focus on public outreach and awareness regarding welfare initiatives implemented during the last two years.
The events will also highlight the achievements of the state government and present Odisha’s long-term development vision and roadmap for the period from 2026 to 2036.
Officials said various outreach programmes, public interaction campaigns and awareness activities related to government schemes are expected to be organised during the celebration period across districts in Odisha.
