Odisha Inaugurates 590-Plus Urban Infrastructure Projects Worth ₹323 Crore

Bhubaneswar: On the occasion of Local Self-Governance Day, the Odisha government inaugurated more than 590 infrastructure projects worth around ₹323 crore across 62 Urban Local Bodies (ULBs) in the state.

Odisha Housing and Urban Development Secretary Usha Padhee said the projects include both small and major infrastructure works aimed at improving the quality of urban life and addressing essential civic needs.

The projects include the construction and development of roads, drains, public plazas, small rest houses and other urban infrastructure required to make everyday life easier for residents.

Padhee said the government would continue creating infrastructure necessary for better urban living and strengthening civic amenities across Odisha’s urban areas.

The initiatives are expected to improve basic services and contribute to more liveable and better-equipped urban communities across the state.
