Patha Utsav Returns to Bhubaneswar on January 18

Bhubaneswar: Bhubaneswar’s popular street festival Patha Utsav is set to return on January 18, 2026, transforming Jagamara New Road into a vibrant, car-free cultural zone from 6.00 am onwards.

Organised by the Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC), Patha Utsav aims to reclaim public streets as inclusive community spaces, encouraging citizens to come together for culture, creativity and outdoor recreation. The initiative offers residents a refreshing winter morning experience filled with live music, dance performances, fitness activities and interactive events.

Following its successful earlier editions this season, which drew large family crowds and showcased local artists, Patha Utsav continues its mission to strengthen community bonds, promote local talent and celebrate the city’s cultural diversity. The festival features street performances, traditional art and craft stalls, recreational zones and creative activities suitable for all age groups.

The upcoming edition at Jagamara New Road is expected to witness enthusiastic participation from residents and visitors alike, reaffirming Patha Utsav’s growing popularity as a platform for cultural expression and community engagement.

With its blend of culture, music and togetherness, Patha Utsav promises yet another memorable morning for the city’s residents.
