RSS Marks 100 Years: PM’s Visit to RSS Headquarters Sparks Discussion 

Bhubaneswar: The Rastriya Swayam Sevak Sangh (RSS) is one of the most influential organizations in India. It completes its 100 years of journey. The founder of RSS, K.B Hedgewar, the man behind the birth of the RSS. RSS has been a caricature by both it’s supporter and and critics. 

India has reached a stage where if a person looks at it from outside cannot understand the grip of it without understanding or grappling with RSS. This organization has got into the pulses of Indian society. Each and every Indian citizen has an opinion and impression about RSS. 

The latest discussion raised as Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited the RSS headquarters in Nagpur on the 100th anniversary of the RSS. It is the first ever visit of the PM after he has become the PM as he has never visited the RSS headquarters before during his previous terms. The honorable PM has visited the founder of RSS Dr K.V Hedgewar memorial and also paid homage to Dr B. R. Ambedkar on 30 March. 

The Prime Minister held discussion with the RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat and it was on different issues the country is dealing with at present, and discuss on planning out for bettering India in the coming times. Meanwhile, the opposition alleged that the BJP is seeking support from RSS as they realise that people have started to reject the BJP in polls. 

RSS is the ideological mentor of the BJP. Prime Minister Narendra Modi had started his political journey from the Sangh as a Sanghi or Karya Karta in RSS. There were speculations in the past about certain fall out between BJP and RSS. This visit of PM has ended those speculations and proved that it is the combined power of Sangh and BJP that triumph the elections at both assembly and Lok Sabha. Though BJP came at a back foot in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections pertaining various reasons, later in Maharashtra, Haryana etc assembly elections Sangh showed its impact by giving BJP shipping victories one after another.
