Bhubaneswar: The historic Kataka Bali Jatra festival is scheduled to be held from November 24 to December 1, with preparations underway for the annual cultural and trade fair.
The Cuttack district administration has proposed organizing the festival across both the upper and lower grounds of the Bali Jatra field, subject to approval from the state government.
This year, the administration is also planning several improvements to enhance the experience for visitors. These include better parking arrangements, performances by Bollywood artists and water sports activities in the Mahanadi River.
The proposed additions are aimed at making the historic festival more attractive to visitors while further promoting Cuttack’s rich maritime and cultural heritage.
