CBSE Postpones Class 10, 12 Board Exams in Middle East Amid Conflict

Bhubaneswar: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has postponed board examinations for Classes 10 and 12 in its affiliated schools across the Middle East in view of the escalating conflict in the region.

In a fresh notice issued on Tuesday, the board stated that examinations scheduled for March 5 and 6 in the Middle East region will stand postponed. The decision has been taken as a precautionary measure to ensure the safety and security of students and staff.

CBSE is expected to announce revised dates for the affected examinations in due course. Students and parents have been advised to stay in touch with their respective schools and monitor official CBSE communications for further updates.

The move comes amid heightened tensions in parts of West Asia, which have disrupted normal activities, including educational operations, in several countries.
