Bhubaneswar: Odisha Mining Corporation (OMC) is set to reshape the skyline of Bhubaneswar with its upcoming futuristic headquarters and commercial complex near Kalinga Stadium.
Spread across six acres with a built-up area of nearly 12 lakh square feet, the OMC Tower will feature a three-tower integrated design combining corporate offices, commercial spaces, and public infrastructure.
A standout feature of the project is a 400-metre-long SkyDeck, designed to offer panoramic views of the city. The complex will also include a convention centre, auditorium, art gallery, and multiple public interaction spaces, positioning it as more than just a corporate facility.
What distinguishes the project is its AI-powered kinematic façade. The building will incorporate sensor-based aluminium fins that dynamically adjust to sunlight, enhancing energy efficiency and indoor comfort. At night, the structure is expected to transform into a dynamic visual display through advanced projection technologies.
With sustainability and green building certification as core objectives, the development aims to blend architectural innovation with environmental responsibility.
Urban planners view the OMC Tower as a milestone project—one that not only enhances Bhubaneswar’s skyline but also signals its evolution into a modern, technology-driven urban hub.
