Bhubaneswar: Asaduddin Owasis, the five times Member of Parliament and sitting MP from the political party AIMIM, has decided to join the anti-terror all-party delegations of the center which is about to leave to the capitals of different states for exposing Pakistan’s backing of terrorism to the world. While speaking with the India Today, Oasis talked about the equation between the current government, Operation Sindoor and his decision to take part in the foreign multi-party delegations.
The reason behind accepting to be part of the delegation is that India is going to present a strong case against Pakistan who has indulge in terrorism for decades. This has got nothing to do with the political and ideological differences which he has with BJP. This is a matter of external threat to the country, especially in the light of the gruesome massacre in Pehalgam and the subsequent development where in India had targeted nine terrorist establishments. This the only reason to put forward a strong case against Pakistan and the terrorist organizations which are patronized and supported by Pakistan. So that the world knows not only about Pehalgam but the numerous incidents of terrorism perpetrated by Pakistan in India. The recent loan sanctioned by the IMF to Pakistan, there is a high chance of that money being misused in promoting terrorism against India.
The delegations will be visiting various state capitals and meeting or briefing the higher authorities on the world forum. Asadudin Oasis is part of the group 1 delegation which would be visiting countries like Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Algeria, Bahrain. These countries are very critical and important for India’s projection when it comes to Pakistan, an Islamic nation. India has a strategic relation with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and all these four countries. a huge number of Indians living there in three out of the four countries mentioned. They have a substantial amount of foreign exchange with our country. India has a historical relation with both Bahrain and Kuwait. The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has helped India to a great extent in stopping terrorism by handing over to India the most wanted terrorists who lived in that part of the world. Saudi Arabia is also making a huge investment in the oil import. So we have a great opportunity when an all-party delegation goes there. All these countries are against any form of terrorism. Thy have a strict policy on zero tolerance on terrorism. On this note India and these countries are together to combat terrorism. The good relations India has developed over the years with these respective countries will surely bring a collaborative standing for us.
The group-1 delegation, headed by the BJP MP including the other respected MPs, Baijayant Panda, will be able to put forward a convincing stance of our country. It is in the interest of not only South Asia but of the whole world that the act of terrorism comes to an end. Because no country in the world would like to see any sort of destabilization in India when it is a huge economic market for various countries. So it is the interest of the world that terrorism perpetrated, supported and fostered by Pakistan comes to an end.
The diversity and plurality of India is reflected in the Indian constitution, which celebrates diversity, promotes plurality and equality. India should not ever be hyphenated by a country like Pakistan which has only tried to trouble and destabilize India since 1947 by promoting various terrorist organizations. Our constitution states, India as a nation has no particular religion but it celebrates all religion. Whereas Pakistan is a failed state which had been formed on the basis of religion and they have used religion as a tool to promote terrorism. There cannot be any equivalence between the tow countries in terms of their past, present and future. The economy of India is 11 times stronger than Pakistan that has taken the IMF loans 28 times. The must know what they are doing with their country. The government India must ensure that Pakistan is put back in the FATF grey list once again. This will be the best way to ensure the money is not given to these terrorist organizations in Pakistan.
