BHUBANESWAR: The Empowered Committee on Infrastructure for Public-Private Partnership (PPP) Projects of the Odisha government has approved five new PPP projects with a combined investment of ₹1,130 crore across sectors including healthcare, urban development and animal vaccine production.
The committee meeting was chaired by Anu Garg, who emphasized the need for strict adherence to project timelines and comprehensive due diligence during implementation.
Officials said the newly approved projects are expected to strengthen infrastructure development, improve public service delivery and attract greater private sector participation in key sectors of the state economy.
The committee also highlighted the importance of efficient execution and monitoring mechanisms to ensure timely completion of the projects under the PPP framework.
According to the state government, the projects are aligned with Odisha’s long-term development strategy under the “Vision 2036” roadmap, which aims to accelerate sustainable growth through increased infrastructure investment and public-private collaboration.
