Bhubaneswar: The Puri Srimandir Chief Administrator Arabinda Kumar Padhee said that in the Jagannath temple, there will be new darshan arrangement implemented from the new year.  The special new darshan arrangements will be with special barricades for the people which is going to be started from the new year that is January 2025. these special barricades will be set up for systematic darshan of Lord Jagannath and his siblings.

The repair work of the Ratna Bhandar shall be completed at the earliest and also sufficient hundis will be set up after discussion with the Chhatishanijoga and the Management Committee of the temple very soon. The renovation of the Ratna Bhandar is underway based as per the NGRI report. Identity cards have already been issued to those who will be present during the renovation. There is very less time left for the renovation due to the Mahasnana.

The Chief Administrator also stated on the issue of discipline in Ananda bazar (the prasad market inside the Jagannath temple premises) that a committee has been formed in this regard. There will be retired army officers appointed for the maintenance of peace in the Ananda bazar.
